Shehwar & Maria are a multi-award-winning content creator duo specializing in travel, lifestyle, and entertainment. Since starting their vlogging journey on 22nd July 2020, they have inspired millions to explore the world, embrace kindness, and spread positivity through their captivating videos.

 

As the first couple vloggers from Bangladesh to receive YouTube’s prestigious Golden Play Button, Shehwar & Maria have continuously broken new ground. In 2021, they won the Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Award for Individual Content Entertainment. A year later, they became pioneers as the first social media influencers in Bangladesh to feature on an OTT platform with their travel show ‘Ghur Ghur Ghurni’ on Chorki—marking the country's first-ever travel series on an OTT platform. In 2023, they were honored with Heart-Britain’s Star Award for Best Social Media Performer. They have been prominently featured across all major television and news media outlets in Bangladesh, as well as in Metro, the UK’s highest-selling newspaper by circulation.

 

Their journey began in London, where they met through a mutual friend in 2017. Maria, originally from Romania, has been living in London since 2015, while Shehwar moved from Bangladesh to London in 2005. They tied the knot in January 2020 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Beyond content creation, Shehwar & Maria are dedicated philanthropists. They have actively supported Bangladesh Cancer Aid Trust (BANCAT) since 2020, raising awareness to combat cancer. They have also been sponsoring an underprivileged child in Bangladesh since October 2020, reflecting their commitment to making a positive impact.
